



Bacchanal Games Branding
CHALLENGE:
In 2020, Gifford Hartwell and I founded Bacchanal Games around our mutual love of cocktails and tabletop gaming. Our brand’s mission is to lower inhibitions, have fun with friends, and introduce new players to tabletop gaming.
SOLUTION:
The word bacchanal comes from mythology where followers of Bacchus (the Roman god of wine and ecstasy) would have boisterous (drunken) festivals they called Bacchanalia. I modeled our brand after Bacchus’s closest companion, the Satyr, after our friendship. Our Satyr certainly knows how to party with his chalice raised in a toast to victory.
