



Blue Moon Brand World
CHALLENGE
Searching for relevancy in an increasingly competitive category, Blue Moon engaged us to redefine their brand meaning and corresponding brand expression for their most popular beers.
SOLUTION
Today, Blue Moon Belgian White’s garnishing ritual is one the most recognized beer serving rituals in the industry. Seeing the significance of this achievement, my team built a new brand world that emphasizes the brand’s iconic glassware and orange wheel garnish. The new visuals utilize succint typography and the brand’s dark blue to set a darker and more elevated tone that is perfect for the night time drinking occasion.
ADAPTATION
To introduce new flavors to an on-premise occasion, our team shifted a the master brand visuals to include a bar environment while keeping the focus on the beer itself. Since not all Blue Moon beers are served the same, we showcased the new beers in the same glasses they do at the Denver brewery, paired them with flavor cues that highlight their key ingredients, and inserted the bottle for ease of identification. The resulting master graphics are refreshing and flavorful while maintaining some of the DNA from the master brand.
